HOW THIS TOOL WORKS

A practical check before you print.

For a left-bound 8-page booklet the outer sheet is 8|1 on the front and 2|7 on the back. Pages are padded to a multiple of four. Booklets use landscape sheets; print duplex with short-edge flipping and test one folded copy. Only static page content is retained: interactive forms, annotations, attachments, signatures and actions are omitted. Password-protected PDFs are not accepted.

How to use this tool

What is the correct page order for an 8-page booklet?

For left binding, output pairs are 8|1, 2|7, 6|3 and 4|5. Print landscape sheets duplex with short-edge flipping. Non-multiples of four receive blank pages.
